ASU members have presented a petition to MAB management calling on them to offer a fair pay increase of 4%.
Earlier this month, MAB offered the following:
- 3 year agreement;
- 2 weeks paid maternity leave;
- $200 educational assistance allowance per training;
- Pay increases of 3.5% for each year of the agreement; and
- No other changes to the agreement.
We told them that 3.5% wasn’t fair because MAB employees were working hard than ever.
Today, your union wrote to MAB to present the ASU member petition for a 4% pay increase and to request written confirmation of the Bank Holiday, Training and APT for exiting employees.
ASU members need to stand together to get a fair deal. Speak to your organiser about the next steps to secure a fair enterprise agreement.
