At the recent national meeting of ASU Qantas delegates it was resolved to commence our preparations for our Qantas EBA 10 this year.
As a result our Qantas EBA 10 ASU survey has now been released to enable staff to express a view about what we should claim in this next bargaining round.
ASU delegates and organisers will be holding meetings across the country to discuss and complete our survey and to plan our EBA campaign.
Make your voice heard
These meetings are an ideal opportunity to discuss the survey, consider what is important and ensure everyone can participate in determining what is included in the ASU Claim.
There are interesting times ahead - the Emirates/Qantas alliance, the International Domestic Division of Qantas and the Australian Air Express purchase are all issues we have to consider as well as the usual issues of outsourcing and contracting out that Qantas has been renowned for.
Less staff and more work also means productivity is well and truly up and should be rewarded.
Watch out for meetings
