ASU officials and Delegates met with Sunstate Qantaslink and Qantas management to continue to work toward a resolution to the Sunstate agreement negotiation.
The ASU Log of claims remains on the table in full.
Discussions focused on issues surrounding the surety that wage rates and penalties included in the all inclusive rates meets and betters the Award requirements.
As such Sunstate/Qantaslink management have undertaken to do an analysis of the current rates of pay against the modern award and they will provide a detailed response to that question.
These details are expected to be provided along with a written confirmation of the Sunstate/Qantaslink full offer. It is anticipated that this will be received by the end of October.
Once the full response from Sunstate/Qantaslink is in hand the ASU will conduct meetings across the airport and Bowen Hills offices at dates and times to be advised by your Delegates.
