ASU Assistant National Secretary Linda White and a delegation of ASU members and officials will attend the Qantas AGM today in Melbourne. They will be armed with over 900 messages from Australians expressing dismay at Qantas management.
The 2014 Annual General Meeting of Qantas Airways Limited will be held at 11:00am on Friday 24 October 2014 in Plenary 3 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, Melbourne.
ALERT: Media door stop at Qantas AGM – 10.30am Friday 24 October
ASU representatives will be available to provide comment at a media door stop before the Qantas AGM to be held at 1 Convention Centre Place, opposite Hilton Melbourne South Wharf Hotel Entrance (near the AGM venue at Plenary).
The Union has representatives attending the AGM who will be conveying to Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and the Qantas Board the views of the airline's staff and the broader community sentiment gauged via a Change.org petition.
