Your ASU National Negotiating Team (NNT) met again with Toll Dnata representatives in Sydney on 12th August 2014 for our 3rd negotiation meeting.
What we talked about
A significant amount of the meeting was spent talking through the Toll Dnata claims and getting clarity on what they are seeking exactly.
It has also become increasingly clear that we need to get detailed information from the company about how they calculate some of the rolled up rates in some of the Agreements we are negotiating.
What is and isn't included in the rates and what the assumptions for the calculation of the rates is pretty important when determining what a fair rate is.
We asked the company on 25th June 2014 for the information and they still have not been able to provide it. The company currently says the people who can do this calculation work are not available to do this at the moment and so they say how they cannot meet us to discuss anything until early October when they say this information will be available.
Work continues
Your NNT spent a bit of time together at the last meeting nutting out the exact details for each of our claims and we will be finalising these details before the next meeting, so we can provide detailed written material to the company.
